Meet The Team: Elvira
Elvira has been part of the Mark Gunther First National family for over 16 years, and we’re not exaggerating when we say she’s the glue that holds the office together. She keeps the team in line, runs a tight ship, and absolutely owns the admin and sales processes. Elvira loves what she does, and it shows – her energy, organisation, and sense of humour keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

What do you love most about working in real estate?
Meeting new people and being part of such an important milestone in their lives .
How did you get started in the industry?
I began as a receptionist 16 years ago, worked my way through every corner of real estate, and naturally found my way into sales, my favourite chapter yet.
What’s your favourite part of the job?
Handing over the keys to someone’s new home. That moment never gets old!
What’s one property you’ll never forget and why?
A charming sandstone cottage on Lowes Rd, Healesville surrounded by kookaburras, echidnas, cockatoos, king parrots, and even lyrebirds right at the front door. It was a magical property and with such a lovely vendor to work with. It was hard to return to the office after spending time at this one.
If you could live in any home from a movie or TV show, which one would it be?
The Cottage from The Holiday movie
What do you love most about working in the Yarra Valley?
The drive! I get to take the Old Healesville Road every day, and I’m so grateful I’m not commuting to the city. Driving around the valley is always mostly beautiful.
Favourite local business or café?
My current favourite is Plum & Rye bakery in Healesville’s West End. They make the best sourdough and potato focaccia ever!
Favourite local walk or lookout?
Breakneck Road in Yarra Glen.
Usual weekend plans when you’re off-duty?
Cheering on my kids at local football/cricket/basketball, scoring games, working in the canteen, or being the classic mum-taxi driving them somewhere. If get a rare free day, you’ll find me in the garden or out on my little boat in Port Phillip Bay.
If you could instantly master a new skill?
Painting! I love creating art but, sadly, my talent doesn’t match my enthusiasm, however I give it a go anyway.
What motivates you each day?
My family.
What’s the most memorable holiday you’ve ever taken?
An African safari across Kruger National Park
One thing on your bucket list?
An epic around Australian road trip – Up the coast of Queensland to the Kimberley’s, Broome, Cape Leveque, Ningaloo Reef, Karijini National Park, Esperance, and all of in between.
If you weren’t in real estate, what would you like to be doing?
Travel & Wildlife photographer.
First concert you ever went to?
Guns N’ Roses at Calder Park – total disaster!

Proudly Supporting Our Local Community: Healesville, Badger Creek & Chum Creek CFA

This year we have proudly sponsored the Healesville, Badger Creek & Chum Creek CFA with their 2025 recruitment campaign. The campaign was a major success which recruited 10 new members to the Brigade.
We donated three large community boards to their campaign and are so please with their great outcome!
Thanks to Ethan and all members of the local CFA crews for your continued service to our community!
