After the devastating fires across Victoria in January – we worked alongside Krystal from Yarra Valley Images to call for donations for those affected by the fires specifically in the Yarck and Alexandra areas.
We put the word out on social media on the Tuesday, and donations came flooding in. The power of social media was incredible.
We were so proud of the result, with so many amazing locals coming in with food, clothes, bedding, fencing supplies and more to kindly donate to those in need.
We ended up with donations spilling out of the office, so much that we had to move everything into the shop next door. It was heartwarming to see the generosity from our community.
We ended up with a full cage trailer plus another large van full of donations that went up to Yarck.
